Last weekend in Prague, Czech Republic, I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Brian Tracy , this is a gentleman who has written over 70+ books and given over 5,000 talks to over 5 million people in 75 different countries sharing his knowledge on achieving personal and business goals faster and easier than you could and so I guess he knows what he’s talking about right!

As a speaker at the event I was privileged to be able to spend time with him not only for the official photograph but also at dinner and we shared a taxi back to the airport. Brian Tracy

Why do I tell you this?

Well, 4 years ago I was sitting in an event like the one I was speaking at this weekend and I had no idea that my life was about to take a huge change in direction. At the time I was a fully fledged member of The Rat Race, I raced to work, paid the bills, worried about being in debt, couldn’t wait until Friday so I could distract myself with alchol and was looking forward to retirement (all a bit sad at 48!!).

Over the last 4 years I spent time learning new skills including Public Speaking, Social media, Book writing and learning how to be an entrepreneur.

I realised the when you Find Your WHY! you can become frickin’ awesome, not in an egotistical way, in a way that allows you to know that what you are doing makes a difference in your life, those around you and across the world.

I help x-gen women (aged 34-55) to be the woman they were born to be, by addressing just 3 areas. If this sounds of interest to you then please click HERE for a short video to find out more.
Interestingly, Brian was talking about investing 2 hours per day of your time on learning and mastering a new skill as it is the skills that set you apart from the masses. I had the pleasure to spend time with Brian on the way to the airport with the lovely Fire-walking goddess that is Renata Angelo and I asked Brian if he would ever retire. His answer came back in a nano spilt second:

“No Cheryl, why would I retire?
Retirement is for those who hate their job,
I mean what would I do sit around all day and watch poor TV?”

Now I know if you’re thinking “Thank God it’s Friday” …it probably time to change what your doing!
